About Us

Cat has been a creative entrepreneur for over 20 years, working on her personal enterprises, as well as alongside her husband in their large-scale manufacturing company in Cairns.

Kit & Co Creations was established in 2020 by Cat Carmady, after her existing millinery business was put on temporary hold due to the impact of Covid 19.

Catherine used her down time to experiment with new materials and products, discovering the medium of polymer clay. 

With the support of her husband, and their shared interest in 3D printing. Cat began to experiment with designing and producing 3D printed tools for polymer clay artists. 

Clay artists were thrilled with her products, and she quickly grew her range of designs. Cat is know for her design innovation, with many of her ideas spreading worldwide and picked up by other artists and creators. 

With the help of her assistant Narelle, Cat has continued to grow the business and further expand the range of supplies, and added a third brand Cookie Couture Australia into the mix. 

In 2023 Catherine brought her three business together in a lovingly refurbished cottage the Cairns Craft Cottage, which also functions as a workshop space.
